Donald P. O’Meara

Admitted:
Attorney O’Meara was admitted to the Bar for the State of Wisconsin and the District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin in 1968. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit.

Education:
Attorney O’Meara received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Marquette University majoring in English and philosophy. He received his law degree from Marquette University in 1968. He is also a certified teacher of English as a Second Language, and has some fluency in Spanish.

Professional Memberships:
Attorney O’Meara is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Washington County Bar Association, and the Ozaukee County Bar Association.

Areas of Practice:
Attorney O’Meara’s main areas of practice are personal injury, worker’s compensation, insurance law, subrogation, estate planning, collection and general civil law.

Notable Accomplishments & Community Involvement:
Attorney O’Meara has been involved for many years with the Volunteer Lawyers Project of Legal Action of Wisconsin. He is active in service at Holy Hill, including the Knights of Columbus, and is currently a member of the Parish Council at St. Mary of the Hill parish. Attorney O’Meara is also a volunteer tutor o English as a Second Language at Milwaukee Achiever Literacy Services and at Sacred Heart Seminary.

Attorney O’Meara is married and lives in the City of Hartford. He has four children.
